URBAN TRANSFORMATION OF SANT JAUME DISTRICT

Sant Jaume quarter is one of the oldest and most deteriorated historical neighborhoods of the urban area of Tortosa.  The proposal wants to make the into a modern neighborhood, without losing its inherent values.

The main goals are:

- Provide accessibility throughout the district for pedestrians and vehicles alike.

- Work from the streets, houses and school, respecting the character of the neighborhood.

- Achieve a sustainable neighborhood which meets environmental, social and economic criteria.
